Do a Barrel Roll!

Heh.

All right, to kick things off, let's get into the Expansion or Doom 3, or the second installment for the Xbox.

It was alright. It didn't exactly shine as bright as the original Doom 3, but it had it's moments. Moments like the end boss. The tool that becomes a weapon, grabbing objects from the ground, explosive barrels, or the enemy's own plasma. The freaky heart-thing with it's time-bending properties(watching the character's hands aging was freaky) and last, but certainly not least, the other shotgun. Ah, so sweet it was. It'd really blow away the opposition. Zombies? Imps? Not a chance in Hell. Suffice to say, Doom 3: Ressurection of Evil for the Xbox is a shallow echo, a group of weapons and new enemies that would have been better integrated in a fuller game, over too quickly, and ultimately failing to deliver a quality FPS, and what made Doom 3 so fun and freaky.

6.2 / 10 - Weak, boring, and ultimately worse than it's predecessor. ~Joeker
